End User Licence Agreement

Last updated: October 11, 2026

This agreement is between you and [Seller name / sole proprietor] (“we”) for the Segue software (“Software”). By installing or using the Software you accept it.

1. Licence

A purchased licence gives one person a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the Software on up to 2 computers that this person uses.

The licence is tied to the buyer’s name and email shown in the Software; it is not tied to hardware.

2. Free trial

The trial version has all features, no time limit, and adds a visible watermark to the video output. It is provided for evaluation.

3. Your videos

Videos you create belong to you. With a licence you may use them for any purpose, including commercial use. You are responsible for the rights to the music and other material you use.

4. Restrictions

You may not remove or hide the watermark by any means other than a valid licence, bypass the licence check, share, publish or sell licence keys, or redistribute the Software, except as permitted by applicable law.

5. Updates

All 1.x updates are included. A future major version (2.0) may require a new paid licence; existing customers will be offered a discount.

6. Third parties

The Software requires DaVinci Resolve Studio, which you obtain separately. Segue is not affiliated with or endorsed by Blackmagic Design. Third-party components are listed in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES included with the installer.

7. Warranty and liability

The Software is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. Please evaluate it with the free trial before buying. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the licence, except where the law does not allow such a limitation.

8. Termination

The licence ends automatically if you breach this agreement. Statutory consumer rights are not affected.
